The Henderson Arctic Gold Dry Suit Scuba Hood is one of the warmest hoods per thickness that we've tested.
Gold Core Technology is an old idea made better. Both surfers and divers have known for over 30 years that "skin-in" wetsuits are warmer. But in the past they have been very difficult to put on, Henderson solved that problem with their Gold Core Technology that allows the hood to slide on like WD40 on a tile floor. The Gold Core Technology hood is warmer, lighter, better fitting, faster drying, easier donning and sweeter smelling than any other hood you've ever owned.
For cold natured divers the fact that the inside of the Gold Core Hood dries almost instantly (the average hood takes many hours for the inside to dry), making it one of the nicest hoods to put on for that second or third dive. The fact that it dries so quickly also reduces buildup of bacteria that causes the infamous funky wetsuit smell. The "Flow Vent" allows any air trapped inside to easily vent out.
