The Nautilus VHF-GPS Radio is a safety item that all divers doing ocean diving should not leave their homes without.
Distress Button - Depress button for 3 seconds for LMT (Locate Me Technology) transmission of distress message and GPS coordinates to other vessels up to an 8 mile (12.5 km) range.
Strobe Light - We prefer to call this the diver position indicating light. Light will pulse in LMT - DISTRESS MODE which is especially useful after sunset.
Waterproof Housing - Tough Polycarbonate housing depth rated to 425 feet (130 meters).
GPS - Latest version of Jupiter 3 GPS signal lock, GPS position, VHF channel in use and battery status.
Boat Button - Press this button to turn radio and GPS on. Unit will default to Ch16, the universal hail and distress channel worldwide on EVERY marine radio. Manipulate this button to select alternate CH09, CH14 or other user programmable channel. Unit will timeout and turn off by itself after 20 minutes of sleeping (which is an adjustable value).
Chat Button - Pressing this button will also turn the radio GPS on. Lifeline will default to user selected marine VHF frequency. Units come from the factory preset to CH68.
Clip - Designed to conveniently and securely attach to a D-Ring.
Speaker / Microphone - Waterproof to IP67 standards. Splash-proof. The cap of your Lifeline can be opened on the surface (only) in any sea state allowing full use of all features.
USB Port - Used for recharging the battery and interface for adjustments of advanced settings via software.
